Assign one intent to the page
A service page should explain a specific offer. “Website redesign” and “website maintenance” can address different needs and deserve separate pages. Conversely, creating almost identical pages for minor variations of the same phrase may confuse the site. Start by distinguishing real needs, then choose the words that describe them.
Describe the work concretely
Explain the situations you address, what is delivered and which decisions are made with the client. A sample scope is often more helpful than a series of adjectives. For a redesign, discuss content to preserve, URLs to handle and the transition to the new version. The reader should be able to decide whether the service fits their need.
Write a useful title and description
Write a page-specific title and a description summarising its value. Google may use different information to present a result and may rewrite what is shown. Treat your tags as guidance rather than a display guarantee. The visible heading and content should remain consistent with the service being advertised.
Add links that support the decision
Someone comparing options may need a budgeting guide or an explanation of the process. Link to those resources from the relevant passage using a specific label. Finish with an appropriate next step, such as describing the project. Links should help readers move forward; they are not a reason to insert every page on the website.
Your checklist
- A distinct, understandable offer.
- Explicit deliverables and boundaries.
- A unique title and description.
- Links to genuinely relevant guides.
